Christmas Party

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a Christmas wine tasting and we love to share how we took this opportunity to host this amazing night. We stayed classic with the decor and put together a lovely arrangement without going over our budget. Nothing says Christmas than the classic red, white and green. No matter what colours you choose for your Christmas party, have a few items that elevate the occasion. We also had an opportunity to partner with Lilo Home Decor and show off their gorgeous harvest table, stools, and decor. We chose to add a menu and created it from the Sublime office computer easy enough with glossy silver paper from Walmart (yes, we shop there). Another festive and very affordable item we added was the holly and evergreen from our lush backyard! Our large and lovely poinsettia was from Costco. We chose to make the appetizers that were paired perfectly with French wines; they were the only big splurge! Need help with decorating, finding the right catering service or even what wines to serve and pairings. Give us a call!

Lilo Home Décor is a Vancouver Island based, husband and wife team who specialize in custom, west coast cottage inspired furniture.

From driftwood coasters to Vancouver Island old growth tables, our philosophy is to embrace the bounty of our land and make it into quality furniture pieces that will last a lifetime. A little keepsake of the beautiful place we call home.

Featured, is our upholstered ottomans and 6-foot harvest dining table with bench, stained in dark walnut. We used BC pine on this dining set, kiln dried to the highest standards, so no, warping, cracks or sap drips over time! We use a wide variety of wood in our furniture, it really depends on what people would like, and their budget. That’s the beauty of custom, anything is possible (well, almost anything, ha-ha).

We love working with our clients, every person has their own unique style and ideas, it’s quite rewarding when we can help their vision become a reality.
